Putting up trusses and roofing

Today we started on setting up the trusses. First we put the two inside ones up first with a brace to hold them in place. We then put a string line from one to the other to show us where to put each truss. We then nailed up each truss and then put the two outside ones up we then nailed the outrigger in the first truss and then the flyrafter to the outside of the outriggers. Then in each corner we put in a angled outrigger for strength.

We also had to nail up a brace to each truss. Once we got trusses out of the way we got started on the ceiling battarns and the purlins. While we were nailing up the ceiling battarns we had to join them on a different truss each time. We had to do the same sort of thing with the purlins. When the purlins were all nailed up we put a wiredog up in each truss.
